Welcome to the Lear Laboratory

Operating at the interface of physical and inorganic chemistry

Who we are

We are a group of curious undergraduate, graduate, and (on occasion) postdocs in the Department of Chemistry at The Pennsylvania State University.

What we do

We are primarily interested in understanding the the interplay between nanoparticles and their near chemical environment. This chemical environment includes ligands, solvent, and reactive species.
